Joe Adams

Wendy Bottom

“ALL children can learn and achieve at high levels if given a warm, safe and inviting environment in which to learn.”

Georgette Bouvy • Maxwell, 4th Grade Math and Science in Spanish

“First, I love teaching; consequently, I enjoy what I do. I must add that I always try to have a sense of humor.”

Georgette Bouv

Trish Crowe

Trish Crowe • Northern, Physical Education, Health and Dance

“Physical education is essential to helping kids establish healthy lifestyles and making them well rounded citizens. Physical education is the key to hitting a homerun in their futures.”

Denise Minor • Bryan Station High, Earth/Space Science and Chemistry

“My teaching philosophy follows a quote by Albert Eistein: 'Imagination is more important than knowledge.' While it is essential for my students to acquire knowledge and understand new concepts, I believe it is more important for them to apply these concepts to their own lives. By using their imagination, they may be the next new inventor, artist, etc. In addition, I incorporate many 'classroom community-building' activities into my lessons. I think it is essential for students to appreciate the gifts and talents of every student in the classroom and learn to work together as a team.”
